Advocates for Pets of Loudon County (formerly known as Loudon County Humane Society), is an all-volunteer organization formed in 1990 through the generosity of Frances C. Fitzpatrick. We are a purpose-driven 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization that provides financial assistance to residents of Loudon County, TN. On January 19, 2025, we celebrated our 35-year anniversary and look forward to continuing to make a difference in our community. Join our cause by volunteering.
MISSION & VISION
Our mission is to help Loudon County pets and their owners by providing financial assistance for spaying and neutering. We provide vouchers to residents of Loudon County, TN, who earn less than $50,000/year.
Our vision is that every pet in Loudon County has a loving home.
OUR IMPACT
In 2023, we provided funding to spay or neuter 304 pets (203 cats and 101 dogs), a 50% increase from 2022. In 2024, we increased the total to 408 pets (a 35% increase), and our goal is to do even better in 2025! Will you join us?

FRIENDLY REMINDER
There are several non-profits and animal rescues in Loudon County. We know it can be confusing, and we want to remind visitors that we are not the Loudon County Animal Shelter (LCAS). Our local shelter is county-owned and operated. Advocates for Pets of Loudon County is a separate (volunteer-run) organization that provides spay/neuter services and does not foster or shelter homeless pets. However, we encourage you to consider adopting before shopping for your new pet. Please visit the Loudon County Animal Shelter and other pet-related charities in our community, such as Loudon K9 Paws and Tails, Four Paws Food Pantry, and PPAW.
